I decided to add a new monthly category to my blog! Cooking with Shonda! Each month I’ll share a new recipe. I don’t claim to be an expert cook but, by the looks of me, I eat well 🙂
I can think of no better recipe to begin with than my Homemade Mint Oreo Ice-Cream
Homemade Ice-Cream was a BIG thing on my Dad’s side of the family! We ate all forms of fruit ice creams as well as good old vanilla
Then, I married my husband and discovered that he dearly loved peppermint ice cream.
Peppermint????? I honestly didn’t know that peppermint ice cream was a thing.
But then the fourth of July came around and I wanted to make homemade ice cream but I wanted to make my husbands favorite.
Initially I made mint chip and that was good but then I found Mint Oreos and my recipe for Mint Oreo Ice Cream was born!
The recipe is below and it’s easy as can be! Enjoy!!!
